Eight hours behind and counting...

Rumours of me working stateside aren't entirely unfounded. Acquiring a big US agent kind of helped, but getting used to the time delay is another thing.

It reminds me of a guy I used to work with who always left a one or two second gap between you asking him a question and him replying. At first I thought it was his way of controlling the conversation, but as time went on and I got to know him a little better, I realised this wasn't the case at all. He was just an idiot; hence his nickname 'Satellite Man'.

But the San Francisco/LA project - Time Piglets - is slowly gaining momentum. The finance is slowly falling into place, so I'm hoping within the next couple of months, I'll be moving to California to co-write the project. Oh yeah, and I'm directing the thing too.

Rumor had it right!

Tear down the rumor mill, let truth be known, Paul Parkes is a marked man! Agents from Wijio Worldwide Studios are seeking to shanghai the man who wrote King Arthur’s Disasters, and bring him stateside to Direct, produce, and write on our fabulous feature animation film in-the-making, Time Piglets.

Slowly gaining momentum, indeed, but with our first investor becoming vested a little over a week ago, we’re expecting to sail (he hates flying) Paul to San Francisco, to meet with the Time Piglets production crew, by June 2008.

The stop clock is ticking, hourglass pouring, and our timeless motion-picture is coming…
