...by Danny Stack for the Writers' Guild last week went surprisingly well, considering I found the prospect of an interview utterly terrifying!
As a writing-type person, I'm quite happy sitting at my PC writing all day, every day. So when the spotlight fell on me, I suddenly felt very nervous and very self conscious.
But having said that, I think it went well. It'll appear in the magazine next month, then possibly online towards the end of May, so I'll include a link when it becomes available.

I suspect you found the interview terrifying because of Danny himself: last time I saw him he was wielding a large knife, had blood spattered clothes and just kept twitching... twitching... twitching, all the while wailing obscenities at frightened young mothers pushing their buggies. Allegedly.
Nice one on King Arthur. Thanks to this series my 9 year old is well into history, he even suggested we go to a museum this half term (and I quote) FOR FUN. So yeah: ta for that. ; )
So that's normal for Danny, is it? That's a relief.

really enjoyed your interview in the WGGB mag. Oddly I had a meeting with Julian @ zenith re writing for King Arthur's Disasters, but my ideas weren't quite up to snuff. I did manage a 'Funky Fable' though, which goes out in August. Anyway, if you're at the screenwriter's festival, I'd love to have a chat as writing for children and animation is a big passion of mine. I'll also be there as a very embarrassed speaker, talking about 'Faintheart', my first feature film.
