New Year, New Start...

Don't get me wrong, last year was good. Well, great actually. And being on the shortlist for Star Wars: The Clone Wars was the icing on the cake. I'm hoping to get a phone call when they start season three.

But this year has started on a surprising note because I've suddenly found myself in the middle of a marathon pitching event. I remember reading somewhere that the more pitches you do, the easier it gets. Oh really? I don't bloody think so.

I have a pitching session tomorrow and another next Wednesday, so I'm hoping the meetings go as well as yesterday's when I pitched a total of five shows. And because the producers liked the shows, I don't have to put their names on my revenge list...

Hmm, I wonder. Is it OK to have a revenge list? Probably. But only an idiot would publicise it.

Dammit!

I'm extremely grateful yesterday's pitch went well because I've made plenty of pitches in the past that just wanted to curl up and die. And I've no doubt whatsoever that there are plenty more of those nightmares still to come.

And yesterday was good for another reason because, after chatting on phone and email for months, I finally met up with Danny Stack.

What a great way to spend a Tuesday afternoon - bitching, then pitching...
