Full Moon...

So the wait is finally over! The Wolfman finally hit cinema screens last week and I can't wait to check it out, although not for the gore or the fast-paced action, but to see if I can be seen lurking somewhere at the back of frame. You see, apart from Quantum of Solace, the other big movie being filmed during my time at Pinewood Studio at the beginning of 2008 was The Wolfman.

Every day, I'd spend my lunch break loitering casually at the entrance to the set. And more than once, I'd watch surreptitiously as they filmed some of the sequences. As the action climaxes with the wolfman and Aberline fighting to the death, it would be really cool if I could be seen in the background, looking on as I calmly eat my cheese and tomato baguette.

One day, a member of the crew shouted to me. 'At last!' I thought, with visions of finally meeting Anthony Hopkins or Hugo Weaving. Sadly, no; I was standing in the way of a reversing catering truck.

For some reason, after that day, it became a closed set. Oh well...

The good news is that the top secret project I mentioned a while ago is coming along nicely; it's had some really good feedback, so after a slight polish, it'll go off into the great big world and hopefully hit the big time. And then, if everything goes according to plan, another of my projects will be going into development.

Hmm...that's got me thinking; I wonder if I still have my Pinewood pass? I feeling like loitering again...
